It’s been 7 weeks since our last @WorldSBK round in the USA with the wonderful corkscrew and after the break can @abautista19 stage a come back after loosing such a big lead from the opening rounds… After race 1 it looks like @Jonathan_Rea won was back on pace to take his 5th @WorldSBK Championship on the bounce but Alvaro did take some points out of Rea’s staggering lead when he won Race 2 but Rea still took second.

The problem is that Jonathan Rea now has a 91 point advantage in the championship with only 3 rounds to go and with 25 points for a win there is a maximum 150 points still available. Now that does make it mathematically possible for Alvaro to take the championship… We will have to wait and see what the next round in France will bring but we could be crowning the champion by the end on the month.
