So the @MotoGP circus finds itself moving away from the comfort zone of the European races and into the cauldron of the first flyaway. The Chang Circuit at Burriam proved, however, to be a mix-up, with heavy storms and lots of rain, and then fierce heat and humidity. Chang is a great circuit (voted best GP last year) but the heat is hard to deal with, encapsulated as the riders are in leathers and helmet, it becomes, to a degree, the survival of the fittest.

Quali rocked up something new, with the likeable @_Celin13_ (Celestino Vietti) taking pole, with Marcus Ramirez P2 and @AlbertArenas P3.

Race time and seventeen year old Celestino Vietti shot away from the grid showing his quail pace, however, he was soon swamped by the charging Ramirez, @AlonsoLopez_21 and Albert Arenas.
@Moto3 is usually bunched, and at this race, it was like a snake going round the circuit, so close were the first fifteen or more bikes. With fifteen laps to go @LorenzoDallaPorta48 showed his hand and took the lead with @Tony_Arbolino and Albert Arenas in tight pursuit. This lap, however, became notorious as Darren Binder with an insane move took out John McPhee, Tatsuki Suzuki and Aron Canet (the championship contender). Binder kept going, and received a drive-through penalty, but deserved more, basically, Binder should be binned, the sport is dangerous enough without such irresponsible riding.
