How has your Winter been without Moto GP? Well, the waiting is over and now we can all look forward to checking in on Fridays to start our weekends with action-packed racing. This coming weekend we will be at Losail, Qatar for the start of the season, and as we have said before, it is hats off to Dorna for their fantastic organisational skills bringing the Moto GP paddock to us as they did last year under very difficult circumstances.
Here at Bike Directory, we have been very busy, more of that in another report, so we apologise for not being as active online as we would have liked, but hopefully, we have some exciting news soon, which will explain all.
Let’s get ready to rumble, and that will most certainly be what we will see in the Moto 3 class. They never fail to put on the most exciting races. Week after week these, mostly crazy teenagers battle it out. Some of last season’s guys have moved on to Moto 2, most notably the World Champion Albert Arenas, but we have many newbies to take their place.
So this is a snapshot of what is to come from the pre-season test,
and no surprises Jaume Masia, Red Bull KTM Ajo, hit the top. Leaving Leopard at the end of last year, Jaume is now in red, blue and orange, and showing the form we know he is capable of. We spoke of “newbies” and we will be talking about Pedro Acosta all year for sure, this young gun is the Red Bull Rookies Champion from 2020, and also clocked third in the FIM CEV Junior World Champs. Third in the final pre-season is Dennis Foggia, one of the established riders and a championship contender for sure.
Looking at the Moto 3 Rider line up the talent is so strong that almost any of them could feature and probably will. Some notables though are of course John McPhee, Darryn Binder and Deniz Oncu.
Wait for the fireworks this Sunday!
