Quali for Moto 2 looked a little different, apart from @AlexMarquez73 who took pole, but P2 was @TetsutaNagashima and P3 @88JorgeMartin

On pole and looking cool in the sauna-like conditions Alex Marquez blasted away from the grid and cleared himself some space. @Luca_Marini_97 looking strong from the get-go and Tetsuta Nagashima followed him on the settling lap one.

Soon, however, it was Alex Marquez and Luca Marini pulling a lead on the rest, with @RemyGardner in the mix.
Twenty-one laps to go and the race pace had settled with Alex Marquez still holding off a charging Luca Marini and Iker Lecuona.
Ten to go and the mid-race report took on a new look, with Brad Binder coming to play, Iker Lecuona squeezing out Marquez, and then Binder pushing Alex down to fourth.
Some midfield battles were playing out whilst the leaders remained Luca Marini, Brad Binder and Iker Leucuona, and that is how it finished, not a dynamic race but great to see Luca back on top, after, what has to be said has been a lacklustre season so far.
Results: 1st Luca Marini Sky Racing Team VR46 2nd. Brad Binder Red Bull KT Ajo 3rd. Iker Leucuona American Racing KTM

With a lowly 17th for Jorge Navarro, Alex Marquez must look to himself, as the World Championship is now his to lose, or win!
