Qualifying:

Quali had Marco Bezzecchi on pole with Jorge Navarro P2 and Sam Lowes P3 at his home grand prix. The Red Bull AJO teammates and usual front runners Remy Gardner and Raul Fernandez were P4 and P5 respectively.

The Race:

It was all about Sam Lowes and Marco Bezzecchi at the start, with Lowes taking the lead and holding it for the first lap, a dream start for Sam at his home race. Raul Fernandez and Remy Gardner were in the mix and looking feisty as the race settled after the dynamic start.

Fifteen laps to go and Marco Bezzecchi had taken the lead from Lowes with Remy Gardner firmly in P3 and Jorge Navarro P4, Raul P6. Thirteen laps to go and Marco was still leading a tight pack with Remy P2 and Sam now P3, Raul P6. It was getting feisty between Gardner and Bezzecchi and with 13 laps to go they nearly had a coming together moment as Marco went a bit offline, Remy taking advantage then taking the lead, Lowes observing from behind.

Ten laps to go and Marco Bezzecchi swooped past Remy at Stowe, to take the lead once again, with Sam Lowes holding P3. Marco and Remy were so close P1 was for either of them to take lap after lap. Seven laps to go and Remy Gardner overtook Bezzecchi and this time looked like he was making a statement that this was his race, Marco now slightly behind and Lowes following.

Four laps to go and disaster for Raul Fernandez as he crashed out of the race; he was soon up, but the damage to his championship was done, and his body language showed that as he limped away from the scene. Meanwhile, Remy Gardner and Marco Bezzecchi were still at it, with Remy only just holding off Marco, and now Jorge Navarro taking P3 after slipping past Sam Lowes in a late-race move.

Ther Result:

There was no last lap drama as Remy had it under control and so over the line, it was Remy Gardner, Red Bull KTM Ajo, Kalex, for the win, with Marco Bezzecchi, Sky Racing Team VR46, Kalex, P2 and Jorge Navarro, Lightech Speed Up, Boscoscuro, P3.

This race left Remy with 231 in the championship, Raul Fernandez 2nd with 187 after the damage done in his late race crash, so now Marco Bezzecchi in 3rd with 179.
