@WorldSBK were in the USA at Laguna Seca this weekend and @Jonathan_Rea won race 1 and the superpole race as well as a 2nd in race 2, another 57 points while championship rival @abautista19 picked up 0. Since winning every race at every round up to Assen in April, Bautista has been out-scored by Rea to the tune of 250/116 (136 points) and taken a 81point lead in the championship in the process.
@WorldSBK now have a break until September so lets hope that Alvaro can get back to his winning form at the start of the season.
In the last 2 weeks It’s great to see riders like Chaz Davies, Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, Tom Sykes and Leon Haslam gracing the podium. There are now only 29 points between 3rd and 6th so there is still a lot to fight for.
