We want to cover as many events as we can, but you can only be in one place at a time. The plan was to be at Knockhill for the BSB, but things didn’t quite go as plan. However, as an Indian Scout rider, I thought this would be a great opportunity to tick off my first IMRG (Indian Motorcycle Riders Group) ride and with Indian Motorcycle hosting a special event at the iconic Ace Cafe London Ltd it was a no brainer. So I met up with the group, which, included the Moore Speed Racing boys (and girl) at Fleet Services on the M3. The ride was relatively simple, except for the leader of the pack taking a wrong turn, leading a bunch of riders towards Oxford. WHOOPS! thanks to Shaun Napier from Undead Viking Zombie for saving the day with his Sat Nav.
It isn’t often I get a chance to ride with people outside of my immediate riding group but, it’s always great fun when I do and I’ll be sure to come along for the next one.
I’d like to thank @indianmotorcycleuk, @officialacecafelondon and all my new riding friends for a great day out.
There are riders groups for almost every manufacturer so, even if your mate(s) ride something different to you it’s a great way to meet new people and get involved with the community.
