"A perfect combination of caffeine and gasoline"

13County Fair and Customer Motorcycle Show

You can’t beat a day of custom motorcycles, loud music and some of the best coffee in the South! 13County, in collaboration with Fuel Fest, delivered just that last Sunday at the 13County Fair and custom motorcycle show at Fuel Fest.

For those of you that aren’t familiar with 13County, this badass brand was set up by Tom Moth, a Kent & Sussex local with a passion for motorcycles and streetwear. Combining his two loves with his background in retail and graphic design, 13County was born. Their apparel is made for the freedom chasers, the wild ones and everyone in between, it’s been described as “apparel that rides as hard as you” and made for “those who chase freedom, adrenaline and thrills”, the kind of gear that will inspire any moto-heart to get out and ride.

As the brand has grown over the last few years, Tom and his crew were looking for ways to bring the moto community together and celebrate their brand and everything it stands for… Cue: Fuel Coffee House and the power of collaboration.

Fuel Coffee House is a “clubhouse for everyone”, especially those with a love of great coffee and all things automotive, based in the South Downs. 13County have a great relationship with the Fuel team and following a conversation with them just two short months ago the idea for the 13County Fair was hatched. Rather than paying a small fortune for a stand at a motorcycle show Tom and the team made the bold decision to do things their own way and bring their event to life in a way that lives up to their tagline, a brand that seeks to DISRUPT.DEFY.ENJOY

The fair took place in a field sandwiched between the Golding Barn Raceway Circuit and Fuel Coffee house, a perfect combination of caffeine and gasoline in our humble opinion! For any motorcycle enthusiast this event had it all: custom bikes galore, choppers and bobbers as far as the eye could see (possibly a slight exaggeration, but there were a lot!) and a whole host of phenomenal machines. This sold out event saw hundreds of two-wheeled obsessives brave the scorching heat to check out the bikes, geek out over the endless moto-creativity in both the bikes and the apparel and catch up with new and old friends.

For all the foodies out there, burgers were on the menu courtesy of Fuel. Their burgers are famous in these parts and if you missed the event, we’d encourage you to add a Fuel burger run to your riding list. We can also vouch for their coffee. No lie… One of the best Americanos we’ve ever had (bold statement, we know, but true!) We love that they cater for vegans too, their vegan burger is meant to be top-notch, and we all happily enjoyed a cheeky vegan sausage roll with our coffees. Big fan.

The 13County Fair represents everything we love about the moto-community: genuine people, an infectious passion for the world of motorcycles and an appreciation for great music, great coffee and world-class burgers! We’re already looking forward to next year’s event and with a spin-off moto denim coming late July/August there are big things to come from 13County.
