Sorry, we did not get round to the Czech GP. Things have been hectic around here, with proposals, video shoots and stuff.
The result for the crazy kids was 1. Dennis Foggia on the Leopard Racing set up, 2. Albert Arenas 3. Ai Ogura.

So on to Austria, and the hills of Spielberg. Quail ended up with Raul Fernandez on pole, 2nd Albert Arenas and 3rd. John McPhee.

The usual flying start from the Moto 3 boys saw Albert Arenas take the lead with Raul Fernandez and John McPhee in close pursuit, and we mean close.

After a few laps, John McPhee squeezed past Raul Fernandez who had taken the number one spot from Arenas, so John was now showing the good form of late, and leading the snarling pack of Moto 3 cubs. At this point Deniz Oncu posted the fastest lap and with it third place, and then Jaume Masia came to play.

Darren Binder was on a blinder having made his way up from P22 to P7.
Showing his true form, missing of late, Deniz Oncu pulled off some amazing undercut moves on anyone in his way and took the lead with 16 laps to go, then trading places with Binder and Jaume Masia, the top five places you could throw a blanket over.

With thirteen laps to go Celestino Vietti shot through to the lead, with Deniz in second, nearly taken out by a charging and over-ambitious Binder. The top four were so close Jaume Masia was able to slipstream and then take the lead in one calculated move, Deniz holding second, and Arenas third, but not for long as Raul Fernandez came from 8th to 3rd, and that was with 8 laps to go.

Six laps to go and it was Jaume Masia, Ayumu Sasaki and Deniz, however, Sasakisan was soon to be punished with a long lap penalty for track limit infringement.

Three laps to go the still tight pack had Jaume Masia in the lead, Albert Arenas and Deniz Oncu, then Arenas 6th, McPhee 4th, it was hard to keep up with the swapping back and forth.
On the last lap, it looked like Jaume Masia would take this race, but the six-pack at the front were all so close, it really was any rider for the taking.

Over the line it was Albert Arenas, Jaume Masia and Ai Ogura, then Ogurasan was demoted for being a track limit bad boy, so Vietti was third, but then no, Vietti had been a bad boy too, so John McPhee took his place.

1. Albert Arenas Valresa Aspar Team/KTM, 2. Jaume Masia Leopard Racing/Honda 3. John McPhee Petronas Sprinta Racing/Honda

Deniz Oncu ended up 8th having led the race many times, which is a pity, he deserved better and no doubt we will see the 17 year old podium soon.
