Post-apocalyptic novels are very popular with adolescents,
such as Maze Runner by James Dashner, and The Road, Cormac McCarthy. Now we have Coronavirus, so that vision is not so remote as many adults would have the teenagers believe. We all hope nothing like as severe as those books portray, post- Corona, though, the World will be a different place. Time to listen to Greta Thunberg #fridaysforfuture, #climatestrike and those teenagers who see a bleak future if we carry on regardless.
So in this lockdown, socially distant (an oxymoron if ever there was one) place, we find ourselves, how about bringing the storyteller out of you.
We want to crowdfund and publish a book with 50 of the best short stories/poems or anecdotes that we can, and we need you to do it. The whackier the better and keep them short.
