MotoGP – Gran Premio Red Bull De Espana. Jerez.

Qualification:

It was a usual suspects moment in Quali as Francesco Bagnaia took pole, with championship leader and World Champion, Fabio Quartararo P2 and on form Aleix Espargaro P3.

The Race:

The Ducati of Francesco Bagnaia used all of its ride/height device capability to make a clean clear start from pole position, with Fabio Quartararo close by in P2 and Jack Miller P3. Takaaki Nakagami had a good start to take P4 just ahead of Marc Marquez in P5.

When writing a race report it’s always good to report on the lap-by-lap changes that make it very exciting, this was not one of those races. Basically, it was very boring, Francesco Bagnaia led the race from the start line to the flag, although Fabio kept him on his toes, it was never a done deal, so to speak.

The only progress made was by Aleix Espargaro who did make his way through to P3, and stayed there.

The Results:

Over the line it was Francesco Bagnaia, Ducati Lenovo Team. P2 was Fabio Quartararo, Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP. Aleix Espargaro, Aprilia Racing, P3.

This race leaves Fabio Quartararo leading the championship on 89 points, with Alex Rins second on 82 and Enea Bastianini, third on 69.
